Trusses arrived on Wednesday and by Friday were almost completed. Should be totally completed by early next week. Staircases from lower floor to upper floor have also been added.

Week 23 – Ready for Trusses
This week’s post deserved two posts; one for the overall construction and one for the views. The views are gorgeous and are from just about every room. Framing is ready for trusses and trusses are scheduled to be delivered the day before Thanksgiving.

Week 22 – Second Story Framing
Second story framing is almost complete and ready for trusses. Trusses should be ready in the next week or 10 days. Rain during this week will slow things down a bit, but the project is moving at a steady pace with no major issues. Dumpster was ordered and lot has been cleaned of excess debris.
Week 21 – Floor Trusses, Floors & Second Story Walls
Floor trusses were delivered at the end of week 20 so week 21 started with adding the second-story floor trusses, second story flooring and second story walls. Block work continued thoughout week. Additional lumber was also dropped. Should be ready for roof trusses next week as long as the trusses are ready.
Week 20 – Block Walls and Trusses
Trusses have been delivered and block wall almost complete and ready for inspection. Trusses will start being placed this next week.
Week 19 – Completing Block Walls
Block walls are being completed. Block wall inspection for grout next week. Trusses have been certified by engineer and are now being built. Should be onsite in the next week or two.
Week 18: Framing & Block Wall cont.
Framing and block wall are continuing. Truss specs have gone to the engineer for certification.
Week 17 – Framing & Block Wall
Framing continues and the front CMU is being built and first section should be ready for inspection on Monday.
